Arthur M. Sackler Colloquia 2012
Daniel Kahneman gives sage advice to scientists seeking to understand how non-scientists think. More importantly perhaps, how non-scientists reach decisions about what is true.
He uses some wonderful examples to make his point, and this talk is perhaps a more efficient way than reading his comprehensive book, Thinking fast and slow.
The Pundit is pleased to see that Daniel finds his wife is a source of marvelous examples of how we think.
Part of a Sackler colloquium on science communication at the United States National Academy of Sciences 2012.
