Transcendental Meditation expert Jeffrey Smith and his anti-GMO film Genetic Roulette were recently promoted by TV health guru Dr Oz. Dr. Oz Investigates: Genetically Modified Foods, Season 2, Episode 64.
Dr Oz TV show productions are now trying to suppress You-Tube clips of the show from appearing on the internet.
Fortunately Academics Review website are making available transcripts of the show available to those people who which to comment on the show's accuracy and ethical probity in representing the facts about GMO food.
You can not only view transcripts of the show segments there, there is a comment box provided in which you can note inaccuracies and offer counter arguments for each individual segment. We plan to use these notes to put together a coherent debunking of the whole show. Maybe Alison and Martina want to lead off and put back some the material that the producers cut from the show. For example, I'd sure like to know what they say about the Dr. Oz's claim that they refused to appear on stage with Gary Hirshberg.
