Recently, upon listening to episode twelve of The Pseudo Scientists, I was so astonished by what I heard from the crazy lady interviewed in our On The Street segment that I just had to make a post about GM food.

It’s often said that GM food is “manmade”, “artificial” or “not natural”.

To get an idea about the significance of these concepts of “natural” versus “artificial” varieties of organisms in the context of agriculture and food, let’s consider… a well made banana.

Hello Elliot Birch,
I think you exaggerate a bit. GMOPundit gives full references and invite his visitors to read the full article on your web site. That a current practice on the web. I would be greatful to GMOPundit for the free advertisment for your website. I would have never discover the "Young Australian Skeptics" without GMOPundit. Your article about banana is great but your reaction is not really fair.
All the best,

oups, actually there is a kind of shortcut in my previous comment. When i said an "article about banana" don't misunterpret this, it was a way of speaking (and my english is not that good). The parallel between gmo and plant evoultion using banana as an example was excellent (and I didn't know wil type banana posses seeds). Anyway, thanks a lot for this article and don't blame GMOPundit, you try both to bring rationnal way of thinking to people.

Apologies for any offense, and Pundit will gladly abreviate the cross-link, but agrees with the comments from the German surfer
