This item reports that Canadian farmers were overwhelmingly turning to GM canola crops, visiting Canadian Scott Day told a GM forum at University of Melbourne's Dookie campus last week.
According to it, Mr Day, describes himself as an ordinary farmer with a background in agronomy, and operates his farm in the sometimes snow-covered Manitoba province.
Mr Day said more than 1 million ha of GM crops were grown in Manitoba, of which about 60 per cent was Liberty Link....more at link
